Follow Zack Follett as he fights to make the Lions and make his NFL dreams come true.

In between training sessions in this 105 degree heat, I had the opportunity to visit The Cat Haven just outside of Fresno. About a year and a half ago my neighbor who works there brought over a 6 month old lion cub that was small enough for me to wrestle with no serious danger. Well, after a year and a half, I went to visit the same Lion, "Couscous", and saw that he had grown to be over 450 pounds! Now that I'm a Lion, we tried to do a photo shoot which is pretty daring. These guys aren't like dogs and listen to what you say. They do whatever they want. The trainer told me "all right Zack, if this beast decides to do something, there is nothing you or I can do to stop him so stay close to the door." Hahaha! It was a good adrenaline rush! Although his photos didn't come out so well, his play partner (Pely) was much more camera-friendly.
Most of the summer fun is coming to an end and it's time to go to work. This is going to be my first job. I always told myself growing up that I wanted my first job to be an NFL football player and it's happened. Truly blessed by our Lord!
Excited to get the pads poppin'!
